What began as a personal solution more than 25 years ago has grown into a small-batch balm range loved by families across Australia. Frances first began making balms for her own family after struggling to find products that felt gentle, natural, and genuinely effective — and those original recipes still sit at the heart of the brand today.
Our story
Beeswax Balms by Alizzie was born from a simple belief: skincare should be honest, effective, and made with ingredients you can trust. From the beginning, the goal was never to create complicated products, but to make rich, nourishing balms that support the skin and bring real comfort to everyday life.
Over time, what started as a quiet family craft became a deeper passion — and a family business. Today, Frances runs Beeswax Balms by Alizzie alongside her two daughters, Alice (Ali) and Eliza (Lizzie). The name ‘Alizzie’ is a blend of theirs — Ali and Lizzie — a quiet reminder that everything we make is rooted in family, made with love, and built to last. Three women, one shared passion for natural skincare that genuinely works.
The brand has grown through word of mouth, loyal customers, local markets, and the kind of repeat use that only happens when a product truly earns its place in the home.

Every balm is handcrafted in small batches using pure Australian beeswax, nourishing plant oils, cocoa butter, shea butter, and carefully selected botanicals chosen for their skin-supporting qualities.
